The company building Africa's diagnostic future.
From teleradiology to diagnostic infrastructure
Kormaq originated when hospitals repeatedly requested remote radiology reporting because they lacked access to specialist radiologists.
Initially operating as KPN Teleradiology, we demonstrated that cloud-enabled reporting could significantly improve access to diagnostic expertise. As demand grew, it became clear the underlying challenge extended beyond radiologist shortages.
Healthcare providers needed integrated diagnostic infrastructure — not just remote reading. This insight drove the evolution into Kormaq: an AI-powered diagnostic infrastructure platform designed for the realities of African healthcare systems.
